PSG Talon has become the first team to qualify for the BLAST R6 Major Manchester after clinching South Korea's first seed following a 2-1 victory against FearX.

The South Korean lineup coached by the three-time world champion Fabian "Fabian" Hällsten started the series against the yellow roster with a 7-3 win on Clubhouse. Eventually, both teams went to the third map after FearX's maximum overtime victory on Oregon.

With the game being decided on Skyscraper, PSG Talon began the final map of the day with a 5-1 half on defense. Three rounds later, the South Koreans confirmed the win.

This result comes exactly one month after the organization unveiled the arrival of Fabian. In an interview with SiegeGG one week after the team's announcement, the Swed explained that his short-term goal was to “start being part of that duo (DPlus and FearX)."

Additionally, the coach admitted he thought they were capable of overtaking them "quite easily." "I think we will overtake both DPlus and FearX probably within the first three months,” he said.

One month later, it's all said and done. PSG Talon have qualified for the BLAST R6 Major Manchester and will start from the second phase of the tournament, which secures them an extra 55 SI Points.
